Announcements Werner Electric Supply Acquires Northland Electrical Supply Company 05.11.01 Northland Electrical Supply Company (“Northland”), a leading value-added wholesale distributor of electrical supplies serving industrial, commercial, and construction markets in central and southern Minnesota and western Wisconsin, was acquired by Werner Electric Supply today. Northland, based in Minnesota, distributes products from a number of leading vendors such as Allen-Bradley, Hoffman Engineering, Cutler-Hammer, Siemens, Thomas & Betts, General Electric, General Cable, Philips, Hubbell, and Columbia-Prescolite. Werner Electric Supply, based in Wisconsin, wholesales electrical components and provides automation, electrical, engraving, and lighting services. Duff & Phelps, LLC, a Chicago-based investment banking and financial advisory firm, initiated the transaction, assisted in negotiations, and served as financial advisor to Northland.
