Duff & Phelps was a presenting co-sponsor of the 2003 Family Business Invitational Conference hosted by the Kellogg School of Management Center for Family Enterprises of Northwestern University. The conference explored the best practices and newest ideas for successful family business continuity with presentations by representatives of family-owned businesses and prominent family business research firms. Mr. Chester Gougis, President and CEO of Duff & Phelps, LLC, hosted a panel entitled "Trends in Valuations of Family Businesses: New survey results". The conference was held on May 20-21, 2003 at The James Allen Center for Executive Education at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, and was co-sponsored along with The Northern Trust.
