David A. Green has joined Duff & Phelps, LLC as a managing director and manager of the firm's newly-opened San Francisco office.

Prior to joining Duff & Phelps, Mr. Green was a director at Ernst & Young, where he headed that firm's national fairness opinion practice. He managed the 1998 startup of Ernst & Young's Center for Strategic Transactions in Palo Alto, CA, and was also a founding member of Ernst & Young's Strategic Alliance Group.

At Duff & Phelps' San Francisco office, Mr. Green will advise boards of directors, institutional investors, management teams, business owners and shareholder groups on issues of corporate finance, fairness, solvency, valuation and corporate governance.

Mr. Green holds a bachelor's degree in chemistry from the State University of New York, and a Masters of Business Administration degree from the University of Rochester.
