Noah Gottdiener, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board
Since 2004, Noah Gottdiener has served as chief executive officer and chairman of the board of directors for Duff & Phelps. The company's revenue has increased from $30 million in 2004 to approximately $700 million today. Duff & Phelps has more than 2,000 employees in over 50 offices around the world.
In 2013 Noah led the company through a go-private transaction, backed by a consortium of investors and management.
Previously, Noah was the founding partner of Stone Ridge Partners LLC, a mergers and acquisitions advisory firm focused on middle market companies; Noah used this platform to acquire Duff & Phelps. Prior to that, Noah was a partner with Thomas Weisel Partners and Furman Selz LLC. He was also a managing director at Lehman Brothers, where he began his career.
Noah is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and the Advisory Board of the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University. He is also a Vice Chair on the Corporate Fund Board at The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and sits on the Advisory Board of the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS) and the Board of Trustees for The Brearley School.
Noah received his B.A. from Princeton University and M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
Jacob Silverman, President
Jacob Silverman was appointed President of Duff & Phelps in September 2013. He joined Duff & Phelps in March 2004 and became head of Investment Banking in March 2011, after serving as chief financial officer for five years.
In addition, Jacob is a member of the board of directors for iLevel Solutions, a leading provider of private equity software and reporting solutions.
Prior to joining Duff & Phelps, he was with Stone Ridge Partners LLC, a mergers and acquisitions advisory firm focused on middle market companies. Jacob joined Stone Ridge Partners from Atomica Corporation, a venture-backed enterprise software company, where he served as vice president of finance and acting CFO. Prior to Atomica, he worked for Oak Hill Advisors, a private investment firm.
Jacob received his M.B.A and B.A. from Harvard University.
Patrick Puzzuoli, Chief Financial Officer
Patrick Puzzuoli is executive vice president and chief financial officer of Duff & Phelps. He previously served as managing director of Finance, responsible for building and maintaining the firm’s finance and accounting team, and as controller. He has been affiliated with Duff & Phelps and its predecessor firms for more than ten years.
Prior to joining Duff & Phelps, Patrick was the director of strategy and financial analysis for Jupiter Media Metrix, a provider of syndicated research, where he was responsible for implementing financial metrics, analysis and procedures after the firm’s initial public offering. Patrick has also held roles in strategic planning, financial analysis and reporting at Madison Square Garden and Comedy Central.
Patrick received a B.S. in accounting from the University of Maryland at College Park and an M.B.A. in finance from Fordham University.
Brett Marschke, Chief Operating Officer
Brett Marschke is executive vice president and chief operating officer of Duff & Phelps. From September 2001 to January 2007, Brett was employed by The McGraw-Hill Companies, Inc., where he held the position of vice president of human resources for the Information & Media business and was a member of the Information and Media Executive team.
Brett has extensive professional service and consulting experience with PricewaterhouseCoopers, Andersen Consulting (Accenture), Gemini Consulting and Coopers & Lybrand.
Brett holds a B.A. in economics from the State University of New York and a CCP certification from the American Compensation Association.
Edward S. Forman, General Counsel
Edward S. Forman serves as Duff & Phelps' executive vice president, general counsel and secretary.
From May 1998 to February 2006, Edward was employed by The BISYS Group, Inc., a publicly traded financial outsourcing company, most recently as its senior vice president, acting general counsel and secretary.
Edward received his B.A. in economics from Yeshiva University and his J.D. and M.B.A. from Columbia University.
