Duff & Phelps Announces New Chief Marketing and Communications Officer

Duff & Phelps Corporation (NYSE: DUF), a leading provider of independent financial advisory and investment banking services, today announced that Marty Dauer has joined the firm as Managing Director, Chief Marketing and Communications Officer. Mr. Dauer will report to Brett Marschke, Chief Operating Officer. 

Mr. Dauer joins Duff & Phelps with more than 15 years of global marketing, branding, advertising and communications experience. Among his accomplishments, Mr. Dauer was Senior Vice President of Marketing and Communications at Marsh Inc., the world's leading insurance brokerage, where he was responsible for overseeing the global launch of a corporate repositioning campaign. Prior to that, Mr. Dauer served as Director of Financial Communications for Tyco International, where he was part of the team that helped repair the company's reputation. Mr. Dauer also served in communications and financial leadership roles with GE. Mr. Dauer holds an M.B.A. from the State University of New York at Albany, and a M.S. in Finance from Siena College.
