Duff & Phelps Ranks First in Fairness Opinion League Table for Second Year in a Row and Ties for Fifth in U.S. Middle Market M&A

Duff & Phelps Corporation, a leading independent financial advisory and investment banking firm, today announced its performance in Thomson Reuters’ 2013 league tables. As published in Thomson Reuters’ “  Full Year 2013 Mergers and Acquisitions Review,” Duff & Phelps ranked first for number of announced fairness opinions in the Americas in 2013. This is the second year in a row Duff & Phelps achieved first place. Duff & Phelps also tied for second place in announced global fairness opinions for 2013. The league table is published by Thomson Reuters on a quarterly basis. 

Duff & Phelps also tied for fifth place for middle market M&A transactions (deal size < $250 million), according to Thomson Securities full year 2013 data. Last year, Duff & Phelps also achieved top five ranking for full year 2012 middle market M&A transactions.
