Joy Saphla Joins Duff & Phelps Legal Management Consulting Practice

New Addition Extends Duff & Phelps’ Leadership in Legal Management Strategy and Operations

Duff & Phelps Corporation, the premier global valuation and corporate finance advisor, today announced that Joy Saphla has joined the firm’s Houston office as a managing director in the firm’s Legal Management Consulting service line. Her work will focus specifically on the firm’s rapidly-growing Strategy and Operations practice, which utilizes seasoned professionals, legal industry insight, and operational expertise to optimize legal department and law firm performance.

Saphla brings more than 20 years of experience delivering sustainable results for general counsel, in house lawyers, law firms and other professionals leading and supporting legal operations. She has served clients across industries including energy, financial services, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, higher education, technology, transportation, manufacturing, retail and diversified products. Saphla joins Duff & Phelps from Huron Legal, where she served as the firm’s Head of Law Department Management.

Saphla has and will continue to serve clients globally, in the U.S., Canada and EMEA.

Saphla is a frequent presenter on legal management strategy and operations, and has presented at conferences including The General Counsel Forum, ACC, CLO Conference, ILTA, LegalTech and CLT SuperConference.
