Duff & Phelps and Situs Launch Joint Venture to Deliver Specialized Loan Portfolio Service Offering in Ireland

Duff & Phelps, the premier global valuation and corporate finance advisor, and Situs, a global provider of commercial real estate and loan advisory services, have launched a Joint Venture to offer specialized property loan services to the Irish market.

The combination of Duff & Phelps’ valuation, debt, corporate finance, property asset management, real estate and corporate restructuring services, with Situs’ commercial real estate and loan advisory services, including loan due diligence, underwriting, surveillance and loan workout services, provides comprehensive support for property investors. The Joint Venture comes at a time of evolution in the Irish market, where there are significant property disposals expected over the next 12 to 18 months.

Unique in the Irish market, the new end-to-end loan management solution for commercial property investors will span all aspects of property portfolio management, from the pre-acquisition stage covering loan book due diligence, bid management and loan performance analysis, through to the property asset management, consensual work-out with borrower risk review and strategic alternatives appraisal, including disposal and enforcement strategies. In addition to local Irish expertise, the team will be able to call on further support from Situs’ International footprint and Duff & Phelps’ network of more than 70 global offices.
