Alan Pang is a director of the Real Estate Advisory Group in the San Francisco office.
Alan has been in the real estate valuation industry for over 10 years and has extensive experience in real estate valuation and consulting services related to purchase price allocations, impairment testing, portfolio valuations, positive assurance review, lease accounting analyses, feasibility studies, and acquisition due diligence.
Alan manages valuation engagements for real estate clients including institutional investors, REITs, Fortune 100 companies, and other owner-operators of real property. His notable clients include Tesla Motors, Salesforce, Google, Yahoo, Equity Office Properties, Prologis, Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management, U.S. Department of Navy, Kamehameha Schools Endowment Fund, and California Public Employees’ Retirement Systems (“CalPERS”). Services rendered for these clients range from financial reporting to periodic portfolio valuation of real estate holdings.
Alan has provided real estate advisory services for core assets including office, industrial, retail, multifamily residential, and hotel/resorts. Additionally, Alan specializes in the valuation of special-use buildings within the Technology, Media, and Telecom (TMT) sector, in particular, semiconductor fabrication facilities (front-end production and back-end testing/assembly facilities), clean rooms, data centers, R&D labs, etc. Although Alan is based in the San Francisco Bay Area, his real estate valuation expertise spans globally as he conducts multidisciplinary international engagements frequently.
Alan received his B.S. degree in Managerial Economics from the University of California, Davis and is also a certified general real estate appraiser in California, Hawaii, Oregon and Washington. Alan is a Candidate for Designation, Appraisal Institute.
