Benjamin Greenberg is a managing director in the Real Estate Services Group of the Valuation Advisory Services practice. He is based in the Mexico City office and has performed more than 2,500 valuation and consultation assignments on more than 6,000 properties throughout Mexico and Latin America.
Benjamin has extensive experience advising real estate developers, investors and corporate clients in various real estate matters in the commercial, industrial, residential, touristic and hospitality real estate sectors. He started his real estate career as marketing director for Arbitrage Real Estate Group, based in Glendale, California. He developed the company’s marketing strategies, which resulted in 120% growth of the company’s retail sales. Benjamin was then recruited by KB Home, the fifth largest homebuilder in the U.S., as marketing manager. He oversaw all marketing, advertising and branding for the Atlanta, North Carolina, South Carolina and Florida communities. Benjamin was the project manager of the Martha Stewart Homes launch, which achieved 92 contracts on its first day sales. This accomplishment is recognized as the highest recorded volume of one-day sales of any single-family home product in the U.S.
Benjamin joined Montaña Verde in 2007 as marketing director, and was promoted to vice president in 2009. He sits as committee chairman of programs of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) Mexico Council, as well is an active participant in the United States-Mexico Chamber of Commerce (USMCOC), Asociación Mexicana de Parques Industriales (AMPIP), International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), and Asociación de Desarrolladores Inmobiliarios (ADI).
