Lami Ajibesin is a director in the New York office and is part of the Transaction Advisory Services practice. Lami has over 11 years of corporate finance and industry experience including over 7 years of M&A transaction experience.
Prior to joining Duff & Phelps, Lami was a manager in the Energy Transaction Services practice of KPMG LLP in Houston, Texas. She performed diligence on various Energy transactions, gas storage facilities, renewable energy deals, utilities and other infrastructure assets. She was also involved in special projects including assisting in the creation of a new restructuring service line.
Lami serves domestic private equity and strategic acquirers in a number of industries, including Energy (E&P, Oil field services and Utilities), manufacturing, financial services, and various service industries. Energy companies Lami has served during her career include, Cadent Energy Partners, The CapStreet Group, Susser Holdings Corp., Infigen Energy, and Sterling Capital. Other industry clients include The Jordan Company, Monitor Clipper Partners and Bunker Hill Capital. She has also advised on a number of multinational and cross-border transactions in the EMEA, U.K, and Canada.
Lami received her MBA in finance from the University of Texas at Austin’s McCombs School of Business and her B.S.in accounting from the University of Lagos. She is a certified public accountant licensed in Texas and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Association for Corporate Growth.
