Michael Vitti joined Duff & Phelps in 2005. He is a managing director in the Morristown office and is part of the Disputes and Investigations practice. He is also a member of the firm's Complex Valuation and Bankruptcy Litigation group, focusing on issues related to valuation and solvency. Michael has more than 17 years of valuation experience.
Prior to joining Duff & Phelps, he was a director with Standard & Poor's Corporate Value Consulting practice. Michael has provided valuation analyses for a broad range of purposes, including statutory (financial reporting and tax restructuring); transaction opinions (solvency and fairness); strategic planning; and dispute consulting. His primary focus is the provision of consulting advice to attorneys and the development of analyses for expert reports in a dispute context.
Michael holds a B.S. in finance and accounting from Montclair State University. He is a chartered financial analyst charterholder and passed all of the exams required to obtain the certified management accountant and certified financial manager designations.
