Paul Teuten joined Duff & Phelps in 2008. He is a managing director in the Global Mergers and Acquisitions Advisory practice and based in London. Paul brings more than 20 years of experience in valuation opinions and corporate finance.
Prior to joining Duff & Phelps, Paul was a managing director at RSM EquiCo Capital Markets, a California based mid-market investment bank. He also spent six years as a partner in the corporate finance group at Ernst & Young in Birmingham and London, where he led a number of major valuation and corporate finance transactions for UK plc.'s and international groups. Prior to this he held senior positions at Credit Commercial de France and Charterhouse Bank Ltd where he worked on variety of corporate finance assignments ranging from privatisations to hostile takeovers and rights issues. He has extensive expertise in leading and executing transactions for UK and European companies and private equity portfolio companies, and advising on cross- border complex transactions in the UK, the United States and Asia. Paul also has strong industry experience especially in manufacturing industries such as in aerospace and defense, energy, building materials, chemicals and automotive engineering.
Paul has a B.A. in French and German from Exeter University. He is registered with the Financial Conduct Authority in the UK and with Duff & Phelps Securities, LLC the FINRA regulated U.S. broker-dealer, as a foreign associate broker-dealer and a Series 79 Representative. Paul is also a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
