Rita Chraibi is a director in the Paris office and part of the Valuation Advisory Services business unit. She has 9 years of experience in valuation and valuation services.
Rita has extensive experience in performing valuations of businesses and assets for acquisition, financial reporting and tax purposes. She has performed valuation engagements for international clients on cross-border transactions in connection with IFRS 3 and IAS 36 and 38 as well as ASC §805 (Acquisitions in Asia, America and Western and Eastern Europe). Rita has in-depth experience in valuing intangible assets including customer relationships and wireless licenses, trade names and brand names, patents, software, order backlogs, non-compete agreements, in-process research and development and others. She has also performed various purchase price allocations in the cosmetics, pharmaceutical, food and telecom industries.
Rita’s engagement highlights include performing or managing valuations for various consumer products clients; performing or managing valuations for the purposes of purchase price allocations, including a variety of intangible assets (trademarks, brands, customer relationships, technology, etc.) under IFRS and US GAAP; performing goodwill impairment testing for a variety of clients under IFRS and US GAAP; and performing business valuation of entities within a restructuring framework.
Prior to Duff & Phelps, Rita’s experience included valuation and modeling services within the Corporate Finance department of Ernst & Young in the Paris office, where she participated and performed various valuation assignments. Rita also worked for Oliver Wyman (formerly Mercer Management Consulting) in Paris, a management and strategy consulting firm on several financial, marketing and distribution assignments in France and other countries.
Rita graduated from Ecole de Management de Lyon (EM Lyon).
