Ross Fletcher joined Duff & Phelps in 2015. He is a managing director and head of the firm's Canadian M&A Advisory practice. With more than 25 years of middle-market investment banking experience, Ross has managed a wide variety of M&A and financing transactions for both private and public companies across a very broad range of industries.
Prior to joining Duff & Phelps, Ross was Co-Head of Scotiabank Mid-Market Capital Advisors, an investment banking practice within the Commercial Bank of The Bank of Nova Scotia, providing advisory services in the areas of mergers & acquisitions, capital raising (debt and equity), management-led buyouts, leveraged buyouts and recapitalizations for corporate growth or shareholder liquidity. Prior to Scotiabank, Ross was a partner in two M&A/corporate finance advisory boutiques, Solaris Capital Advisors Inc. and Orenda Corporate Finance Ltd., where he advised shareholders, owner‐managers and management teams of mid‐market sized businesses.
Ross holds an Honors Bachelor of Arts from the Ivey School of Business at The University of Western Ontario. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant and a Chartered Business Valuator. Ross holds a Corporate Finance Qualification from the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada and was a member of the CF Qualification Working Group and a member (and past Chair) of the CF Qualification Board.
