Ross Hostetter joined Duff & Phelps in 2005. He is a managing director in the New York office and part of the firm's Portfolio Valuation practice. Ross has more than 12 years of experience serving clients across the financial services industry. He specializes in advising a wide range of alternative asset investors, including hedge funds, private equity funds, business development companies and corporations on valuing illiquid securities and establishing "best practices" and fair value policies and procedures.
Prior to joining Duff & Phelps, Ross was a director at Standard & Poor's Corporate Value Consulting. He also was a tax manager at Pricewaterhouse Coopers in the Financial Services Industry practice where he served in the London and Charlotte, North Carolina offices. Ross has valued businesses, a wide range of debt and equity securities and intangible assets across numerous jurisdictions for a diverse range of companies, including regional and multinational banks, investments banks, asset managers, hedge funds, bond traders, mortgage originators and real estate companies.
Ross holds an MTx from Georgia State University and a B.B.A in accounting from the University of Georgia.
