Sheri is a director in the Houston office of Duff & Phelps and is part of the Intellectual Property practice.
Sheri has a unique blend of experience consulting on financial, economic and technology-related issues in both the context of litigation, as well as non-litigation licensing and valuation advisory services. Sheri has performed business and asset valuations, economic and financial analyses, and provided licensing-related consulting services in a wide range of settings—including licensing negotiations, business strategy, financial reporting, Federal Court, State Court, Bankruptcy Court, and the International Trade Commission.
Sheri has served as a consultant through trial and jury verdict in a number of high-profile intellectual property cases involving patent infringement and theft of trade secrets. She has extensive experience analyzing lost profits, reasonable royalties, and unjust enrichment damages. Sheri has also valued privately-held interests and has served in a variety of commercial litigation matters involving breach of fiduciary duty, breach of contract, securities and corporate fraud.
Her experience spans multiple industries and sectors, across domestic and international markets, with an emphasis on: telecommunications, Wi-Fi (802.11 and Bluetooth standards), semiconductors, computer hardware and software, e-commerce, online media, healthcare, manufacturing, energy, and oil and gas.
Sheri received a B.B.A. in finance from Texas A&M University, where she graduated with honors.
