Anjan Chatterjee has served on Duff & Phelps' Senior Advisory Board since 2004. He brings more than 25 years of management consulting, strategic planning and financial management experience in the automotive, electronics and distribution industries.
Anjan has provided consulting services to automotive OEMs and Tier 1 automotive companies in the areas of strategy, manufacturing cost reduction, global restructuring, sales force effectiveness and global sourcing. He has advised private equity and hedge funds in assessing and conducting acquisitions in the automotive parts sector.
He is the former interim chief financial office and senior vice president of Strategic Planning for Visteon Corporation, where he led all financial and restructuring activities. Prior to that he was a senior director at McKinsey & Company, where he launched the firm's Detroit office and led the North American Automotive practice. Anjan also was partner at ATKearney, focused on transportation and technology companies. He has broad international experience, having conducted a three-year information technology engagement in the Middle East and advised many large companies in Europe and Asia.

Robert T. Chrysler has served on Duff & Phelps' Senior Advisory Board since 2008. He brings more than thirty years of experience in the automotive industry.
Robert has been a successful senior executive for business development in the U.S. automotive industry for more than three decades, with time equally split between American and German automotive vehicle assembly and German and Japanese component manufacturing. He has successfully contributed to major startup operations, significant turnaround endeavors, international acquisitions and the phase out and shut down of a major vehicle manufacturer without any supplier legal ramifications or degradation in the quality and delivery of their components.
Robert is a former senior buyer for American Motors Corporation; corporate vice president of purchasing and logistics for Volkswagen of America; president chief operating officer and president chief executive officer for the U.S. subsidiaries of two leading and competing German suspension companies, Mannesmann Sachs and ThyssenKrupp Bilstein; and chairman, president and chief executive officer for two related Japanese component and system companies Hilex Corporation and Hilex Controls, Inc.
As a senior advisor for Duff & Phelps, Robert assisted with a diagnostic/turn-around engagement for a subsidiary of an American automotive supplier onsite in France. As a senior executive advisor to Global Technology Inc., Robert has also assisted two of its principals onsite in China. For both engagements, he performed operational capability analyses onsite in China and provided each company with a U.S. competitive market over-review for their products, shock absorbers and power steering gears, which also included specific instructions of what needed to be improved upon or added within their operations to be accepted by the U.S. Automotive car manufacturers.

Michael Conway has served on Duff & Phelps' Senior Advisory Board since 2005. He brings more than 36 years of experience in managing and advising major airlines.
Michael offers expertise gained after co-founding and leading two major U.S. airlines, and years of serving as a financial and aviation consultant for investors and foreign airlines. He also currently serves as the chief executive officer of WorldVentures, a leading online travel company.
Previously Michael was the president and chief executive officer of government-owned Air Jamaica, where he led restructuring and strategic direction for two years. Prior he served as chairman and chief executive officer for National Airlines, which he co-founded in 1995. During the decade prior, Michael co-founded and led America West Airlines, where he became the youngest chief executive officer of a major U.S. airline in 1991. At both National and America West, Michael managed successful restructurings, achieved record profitability and managed strong labor relations. He also held senior positions at Continental Airlines and spent 11 years at Price Waterhouse as an airline specialist.

Charles Faron has served on Duff & Phelps' Senior Advisory Board since 2008. He brings more than 25 years of experience leading high-technology and business services companies through operational restructurings and periods of dynamic growth.
Charles was president and chief executive officer of venture-backed portfolio companies and division president of large public companies. In addition, Charles has served on numerous private boards and worked with many buy-side investment banks in pursuit of merger and acquisition transactions. Throughout his career he has led corporate transformations taking enterprises towards profitability, stable financial performance, significant top-line growth, improved operational execution and measured client satisfaction.
Charles is the former senior vice president of Professional and Client Services at Astea International and president and chief executive officer of Navitas Technologies, a high-technology research, development and manufacturing company. He also held top leadership positions at ServiceConnection, Canopy International, Systems & Computer Technology Corporation and First Winthrop Corporate. Charles began his career with French American Banking Corporation of New York.
Charles attended Northeastern University, where he majored in English and journalism, and Duke University's Fuqua School of Business senior manager development program.

Gilles Izeboud joined Duff & Phelps in 2008. He is a senior advisor in the Amsterdam office, bringing more than 40 years of financial advisory expertise to the firm.
Prior to joining Duff & Phelps, Gilles was a partner with PricewaterhouseCoopers and its predecessor firms for 35 years in Europe and the United States. He was deputy chairman at Coopers & Lybrand in The Netherlands and a member of the Dutch Corporate Governance Committee (Commissie Tabaksblat). Through 2008, he also served as supervisory director and chairman of the Audit Committee at Corporate Express and ENDEX.
In addition to the role of senior advisor for Duff & Phelps, Izeboud serves as supervisory director and chairman of the Audit Committee at Robeco and three of the RobecoFunds; member of the board at Stichting Aandelen Nationale Goede Doelen in Loterijen, Amsterdam and Centraal Fonds Volkshuisvesting; substitute member of the Ondernemingskamer (Enterprise Chamber) Gerechtshof (Appeals Court) in Amsterdam; Treasurer Stichting of the Shell Reserves Compensation Foundation; and member of the Board Stichting VOPAK.
Gilles holds a M.A. in business economics from Free University Amsterdam. He is a registered accountant in The Netherlands, certified public accountant in the United States and réviseur d’enterprises in Belgium. |  |
Koichi Kinoshita has served on Duff & Phelps' Senior Advisory Board since 2008. He brings more than 30 years of experience in banking and financial services.
Koichi spent 28 years with Sumitomo Bank, presently known as Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, where he worked in various positions, including managing the sales divisions and heading up relationship management for many of the company’s important offices around Japan. From 1995 to 1997, Koichi served as executive vice president of Sumitomo Capital Securities throughout its merger with Daiwa Securities to become Daiwa Securities SMBC Co., Ltd.
Subsequent to his career at Sumitomo as a director, Koichi headed the Sales and Marketing team of Sega Enterprises, where he was responsible for supervising the European Consumer Product Division. Koichi also served as an advisor to the president of an asset management firm and held several senior operations and management positions at related subsidiaries, during which time he was responsible for strategic planning. He also recently served as a senior managing director and chief strategic officer to a Japanese consumer finance company.

Ted Lee joined Duff & Phelps as a senior advisor in 2008. Ted is an expert in a variety of accounting standards, including PRC GAAP, IFRS and USGAAP. Ted has over 30 years of audit and accounting experience, serving international and multinational clients in China and the United States. Ted is also currently serving as executive director at Prax Capital, which is an independent private equity firm specializing in China-focused investments with over $300 million of assets under management.
Prior to joining Duff & Phelps, Ted was a senior partner at Deloitte, where he spent 31 years in both Asia and the United States. Ted pioneered Deloitte’s China initiative and opened its first office in Shanghai in 1992. Before moving to Shanghai four years ago, he was the office managing partner of Deloitte China’s Hong Kong, Guangzhou and Beijing offices. Prior to his working in China, he practiced in Deloitte’s Taipei and Los Angeles offices. He also led the Manufacturing - Automotive Industry Group of Deloitte China’s national practice.
Ted holds a MBA in accounting and finance from the University of Southern California and a B.S. in accounting from the California State University, Fresno. Ted is a U.S. certified public accountant. He is also a member of American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, California Society of Certified Public Accountants, Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants, American Chamber of Commerce and is president of USC Alumni Club of Shanghai. |  |
John Lilly has served on Duff & Phelps' Senior Advisory Board since 2002. He brings more than 25 years of consumer-products experience as the former leader of more than 50 consumer-driven businesses in dozens of countries.
Since 2002, John has led his own consulting firm where he serves global investment funds and financial intermediaries. In this capacity he frequently consults with Duff & Phelps' clients on merger and acquisition, bankruptcy, financial restructuring and valuation projects.
John spent 22 years with Procter & Gamble Company, working in nearly all of P&G's laundry, paper, food and beverage brands. He worked in multiple countries, including a six-year assignment in Frankfurt, Germany where he led the paper and beverage business in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He later joined The Pillsbury Company, first as president of the company's North American operations, and later as chief executive officer for Pillsbury worldwide.
John holds an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a B.A. in economics from Emory University.

Bill Pearson has served on Duff & Phelps' Senior Advisory Board since 2002. He brings more than 25 years of experience in telecommunications, including a host of fixed, mobile, cable television and internet technologies.
Since 2002, Bill has consulted for clients on a variety of restructuring assignments for leading communications companies throughout the United States and Europe. He has expertise in providing due diligence, valuation and merger and acquisition support for U.S. and European telecommunications companies. Bill also has served as an expert witness and consulted with a number of hedge fund and private equity funds on various potential investments.
Previously Bill co-founded CompleTel, one of the largest telecommunications providers in France, and served in top leadership positions, including chief executive officer and chairman of the board. Prior to his tenure at Completel, he co-founded SPD CableTel, which focused on acquiring and upgrading U.S. cable television systems. Prior to his tenure at SPD CableTel, from 1989 to 1992, he developed and implemented the strategy for combining Cable TV and telecoms for Telewest in the United Kingdom. He started his career with USWest, where he held many global roles serving in the cellular division, and strategic planning, marketing and business development organizations.
Bill holds an M.B.A. from the University of Minnesota and a B.S. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, returning to the UW for fall 1992 as associate professor, teaching MBA-level marketing while on sabbatical.

Mark Rubin joined the Duff & Phelps' Senior Advisory Board in 2009. Mark has more than 20 years of experience in restructurings, recapitalizations and corporate finance.
Prior to joining Duff & Phelps, Mark was the founder and president of Price Waterhouse Publications, the firm’s industry and company research subsidiary. Previous he was a senior manager in its Corporate Finance and Restructuring group. He has served clients in a range of industries, including American Pad & Paper, Borden Chemicals and Plastics, Atlantic Express Transportation, Delphi Corp., Diamond Resorts, Harry Winston Jewelers, Manhattan Bagel Company, Mississippi Chemicals, Raintree Resorts, Shinsei Bank, Specialized Loan Servicing, Sunterra Corporation and Zeta Consumer Products.
Mark holds an M.B.A. from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and a B.S. in business administration from the State University of New York at Buffalo. He is also a certified public accountant. |  |
Robert Taylor has served on Duff & Phelps' Senior Advisory Board since 2001. He brings more than 25 years experience in the domestic and international telecommunications industry as well as expertise in network operations, corporate development, operations support systems, sales management and capital markets.
Previously Robert founded and led TeleGuam Holdings through the acquisition and privatization of Guam Telephone Authority. He also was the vice president of global services for MFS Communications, now part of WorldCom. Prior to that, he co-founded and led Focal, a telecommunications provider in Chicago, for six years.
Robert has served as chairman of the Association for Local Telecommunications Services and as a member of the board of the Information Technology Association of America. Additionally, Robert was appointed to the Network Reliability and Interoperability Council by the chairman of the U.S. Federal Communications Commission. He has also testified in front of the U.S. Congress as an expert on competitive telecommunications.
Robert holds an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business and a B.S. in mechanical engineering.

Eric ter Hark has served on Duff & Phelps' Senior Advisory Board since 2006. He brings more than 34 years of expertise in strategy, mergers and acquisitions.
Previously, Eric was the director of corporate development for Amsterdam-based Royal Vendex KBB and a member of the company's executive board. Prior to that, he served as general counsel, leading all merger and acquisition transactions for GIB Group, a $6 billion retail conglomerate based in Brussels. Eric began his career as a lawyer and practiced 14 years in Amsterdam and Paris.
Today Eric serves as president of the supervisory board for HARG BV, a company operating 400 optical stores in The Netherlands, Belgium and France and serves as supervisory director of Biotech Tools, a Brussels-based biotechnology company.

Sanjeev Varma has served on Duff & Phelps' Senior Advisory Board since 2005. He brings more than 24 years of experience in the automotive and manufacturing sectors, specializing in restructuring, strategic planning, marketing, sales, business development, manufacturing and product development.
Previously, Sanjeev was director of marketing and planning for Magna Powertrain, a subsidiary of Magna Group. Prior to that, he served as director of Marketing, Planning and Asian sales for New Venture Gear, a joint venture between DaimlerChrysler and General Motors. As an engineer and inventor with the Chrysler Corporation, Sanjeev led engineering teams, developed new automotive driveline technologies and products, including hybrids and electrics, and earned six patents. He has worked with major automakers worldwide and visited more than 250 manufacturing facilities globally.
Sanjeev was also an advisor to a German government agency in Berlin, helping bring foreign investment to East Germany.
Sanjeev holds an M.S. in mechanical engineering from Syracuse University and a B.Tech. in mechanical engineering from IIT Kanpur in India. He has attended executive development programs at Cornell, MIT and Wharton Business School.
