What does diversity mean at Duff & Phelps? We foster an environment that encourages you to be yourself and gives you the freedom to advance in your career. Experience has taught us that a diverse workforce is the best way to deliver smarter solutions to an increasingly diverse business world. As an organization, we think globally—and encourage our people to do the same. As we continue to grow, we welcome new voices and different perspectives. Why? Because we know that unique personalities and insight have been key to our success.
We are committed to extending opportunities without cultural boundaries. That’s why we continually search for unique and diverse candidates, support and attend events for minority-focused associations across the United States, and provide articles and information on careers in minority-focused publications. These include the National Association of Colleges and Employers’ (NACE) Diversity Edition of Job Choices magazine and the Association of Latino Professionals in Finance and Accounting (ALPFA). We have established relationships with Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) and numerous NAACP local units, and we sponsor high-profile events at top business universities in support of such groups as the Asian Business Association (ABA) and the National Association of Women MBAs (NAWMBA).
What does all of this mean for you? When you bring your perspective to Duff & Phelps, you’ll find an inclusive, entrepreneurial setting that supports your goals and respects your talents. Together, we will work to create an environment where your only limit will be your own ambition. Click here to see a complete list of upcoming events.
Diversity StatementDuff & Phelps is committed to providing equal opportunities in employment. We will not discriminate between applicants for reasons of gender, race, religion, color, nationality, ethnic origin, political beliefs, sexual orientation, marital status, veteran status, age, or disability.
For the last four years, we've sponsored two annual events at the Haas School of Business, UC Berkeley, chapter.
We first partnered with ALPFA in 2007 as a sponsor of their annual convention, and we have helped to increase the number of their active members each year.
We proudly recruit from affiliated schools via the online job board and magazine, and we've been actively engaged in building our partnership for the past three years. In 2010, Duff & Phelps ranked #8 on the Top 50 Employers of Black College Students and Graduates.
In honor of their 100-year anniversary, we were proud to attend the NAACP Centennial Diversity Job Fair to meet with and recruit NAACP delegates and candidates from the Greater New York area.
For the past five years, we were included in profiles on the National Association of Colleges and Employers' Diversity Edition of Job Choices, which goes out to every career center in the United States and focuses on colleges with highly diverse populations and HBCUs.
For the past three years, we've provided panel members and lecturers for their meetings, as well as offered our employees as mentors. We are also striving to meet with all undergrad Women in Business groups at key schools.
