Ryan Ivey is a director in the Tax Services practice, based in Dallas. Ryan leverages more than 15 years of experience in property tax compliance and advisory services. He manages numerous multi-state complex property engagements for clients primarily in the energy and telecommunications industries.

Ryan specializes in the appraisal of complex properties and the identification of functional and economic obsolescence caused by technology changes, government regulation, construction cost overruns and pipeline integrity expenses.

Ryan regularly presents analyses before state and local assessment review boards throughout the country and has extensive experience in the formal tax litigation process. In addition to providing strategic litigation support to clients and their attorneys, Ryan has given deposition and trial testimony on matters pertaining to proper valuation, apportionment and exemption quantification in multiple telecommunication and energy cases throughout the U.S.

Prior to joining Kroll, Ryan was a real estate analyst at a property tax management services provider, where he appraised various types of commercial real estate for property tax purposes. He is a frequent speaker at property tax and state tax conferences.

Ryan holds a B.S. in economics with a minor in finance and an MBA in finance from Texas A&M University–Commerce.
