David Larsen is this organization's first board representative from the U.S. The IPEV board monitors market practices in the use of the International Private Equity and Venture Capital Valuation Guidelines.

International Valuation Standards Council (IVSC)
IVSC appointed Marianna Todorova to the International Valuation Professional Board.

Private Equity Industry Guidelines Group (PEIGG)
David Larsen is a board member of the PEIGG and was the principal drafter of the U.S. Private Equity Valuation Guidelines. David is also a technical advisor to PEIGG and PEIGG's Valuation Subcommittee.

Society of Investment Professionals in Germany
Dr. Christian Aders is a member and co-chair of the working group on corporate transactions and valuations. This group established guidelines for fairness opinions in Germany and is now working to establish guidelines for squeeze-out valuations in Germany.

David Larsen served as panelist for the SEC's mark-to-market accounting roundtable.
