Alan Picone Quoted in Ignites Europe

Alan Picone, managing director for Risk and Management Company Solutions, was quoted in Ignites Europe on how UK alternative managers are exploring the third-party route for EU access following Brexit.

In particular, Alan comments that he has seen a significant uptick in UK-authorized alternative investment fund managers looking to re-domicile to Luxembourg and Dublin following the UK’s referendum vote to leave the EU. Some asset managers are using third-party management companies as a “form of transition”, enabling them to continue accessing the EU market post-Brexit without the immediate need to deploy staff in Luxembourg or Ireland.
