Bob Bartell and Brooks Dexter Quoted in The Deal Investment Banks to Build Healthcare Ranks

Bob Bartell, Duff & Phelps' Global Head of Corporate Finance, and Brooks Dexter, Managing Director and head of Healthcare M&A, recently spoke to The Deal about the robust healthcare industry and the expansion of Duff & Phelps' Healthcare M&A practice. With the recent additions of Managing Director Phil Smith and Director Adam Stormoen, the total number of senior professionals on the Duff & Phelps Healthcare M&A Advisory group has risen to six. 

Brooks commented, "We have seen so much activity in healthcare M&A and healthcare financing. We needed to expand the team." 

Similarly, Bob believes that "Healthcare is such a big part of the economy. There's a little bit of uncertainty out there with the proposed repeal of Obamacare. We think in the mid-market for a lot of services companies, it's not going to have a lot of impact [on middle-market healthcare M&A activity]."
