Carla Nunes Elected as Practitioner Director of the Financial Management Association

Philadelphia – Duff & Phelps, A Kroll Business, the world’s premier provider of governance, risk and transparency solutions, today announced Carla Nunes has been elected as Practitioner Director of the Financial Management Association (FMA). Nunes is a managing director in the Office of Professional Practice (OPP) of Duff & Phelps, based in the Philadelphia office.

During her two-year term, Nunes will contribute to the FMA’s objective of finding ways to translate academic research in the field of finance into practical, usable finance concepts by practitioners. As a Practitioner Director, she will help identify topics in finance that are of significant interest for corporations, investors and finance practitioners, thus advancing basic and applied finance research in a direction that could directly benefit the global profession.
