Duff & Phelps Announces 13 Managing Director Promotions 2017

Michael Bills, Corporate Finance – London
Mr. Bills is part of the Global Restructuring Advisory practice. He specializes in providing strategic financial advice and planning to borrowers and lenders with ABL facilities. As an experienced corporate restructuring professional, Mr. Bills has completed a significant number of independent business, viability and pre-lending reviews across a wide range of business sectors including manufacturing, recruitment, construction and leisure.

Daniel Carlson, Valuation Advisory Services – Atlanta
Mr. Carlson is focused on the appraisal of real estate for lending institutions, specifically with national and large regional banks. He has deep expertise managing large-scale portfolios assignments across the national platform. The engagements are used by both balance sheet and CMBS lenders.

Kyle Driscoll, Valuation Advisory Services – Milwaukee
Mr. Driscoll has experience in the valuation of general purpose and user-based specialized real estate. He is responsible for coordinating a wide range of engagements; however, his primary focus is on right of way appraisal and related advisory services.

Justin Kloos, Valuation Advisory Services – Atlanta
Mr. Kloos specializes in providing valuation and related financial advisory services to multi-national corporations, mid/small-cap companies, and private equity firms. He has significant experience in business and intangible asset valuations for financial reporting, tax, and mergers and acquisitions purposes. His clients span a variety of industries, with a focus on the software, communications, and general technology sectors.

Robert Malagon, Valuation Advisory Services – New York
Mr. Malagon has more than 13 years of experience in valuation and financial advisory services. He specializes in the valuation of illiquid securities and interests for alternative asset managers, including private equity, hedge funds and business development companies.

Patrick McColgan, Valuation Advisory Services – Atlanta
Mr. McColgan has more than 11 years of transfer pricing experience advising his clients on a broad spectrum of transfer pricing issues. He has a strong focus on assisting growth companies with their global transfer pricing needs through the design of defensible and pragmatic solutions. His experience encompasses many industries, including automotive, consumer products, medical products, pharmaceutical, software, internet, and manufacturing.

Santosh N, Valuation Advisory Services – Bangalore
Mr. Santosh has more than 15 years of experience in valuation and financial advisory services. He is responsible for overseeing key engagements, relationships and strategic initiatives for Indian operations and driving Transaction Advisory Services in India.

Abhishek Pandey, Valuation Advisory Services – Mumbai
Mr. Pandey has more than a decade of experience in managing a range of financial advisory engagements across various industries. He is responsible for overseeing key engagements, relationships and strategic initiatives for Indian operations and driving M&A advisory in India.

Jennifer Press, Valuation Advisory Services – New York
Ms. Press brings over a decade of experience in fixed-income and capital markets over which time she has focused on valuation, trading, structuring and risk management activities across structured credit. She provides valuation advisory services to a wide range of clients including private equity firms, hedge funds, banks, and law firms.

Michael Rigby, Valuation Advisory Services – Chicago
Mr. Rigby has over a decade of experience in valuation and financial advisory services. His expertise is primarily focused on financial reporting and tax reporting requirements related to acquisitions, divestitures, fresh start reorganizations, tax restructuring, and impairment testing.

John Walsh, Valuation Advisory Services – New York
Mr. Walsh has 19 years of experience in performing valuation work for clients in the Industrial and Consumer Products industries, and has assisted corporate and private equity clients with valuations required for financial reporting, tax and transaction support purposes. His areas of specialty include valuations performed for business combination accounting, asset impairment testing, tax reorganizations, and stock-based compensation accounting.

Peter Wilson, Compliance and Regulatory Consulting – New York
Mr. Wilson has over a decade of legal and compliance experience and has helped develop compliance infrastructure and manage risk for registered investment advisers. His background includes extensive work designing and monitoring investment activity, implementing compliance best practices, conducting mock regulatory audits and supporting regulatory filings and reporting.

Anthony Amitrano, Finance – Morristown
Mr. Amitrano is the Global Head of Tax for Duff & Phelps and is a member of the extended leadership team. As an in-house tax accountant, he works closely with the firm’s leadership and business leaders. Mr. Amitrano has over 17 years of experience in tax, specializing in both corporate and partnership taxation with extensive experience in acquisition and divestiture planning and international tax planning and restructuring. He is both a CPA and a CFA charterholder.
