Duff & Phelps Announces 32 Managing Director Promotions

New York – Duff & Phelps, the global advisor that protects, restores and maximizes value for clients, today announced that the firm has promoted 32 colleagues to the managing director level.

Seiya Aizawa, Valuation Advisory Services – Tokyo
Mr. Aizawa is a part of the Valuation Advisory Services practice. He has approximately 15 years of experience in corporate finance and valuation services, including purchase price allocation and legal entity valuation.

Kimberly Bindra, Internal Firm Services – New York
Ms. Bindra is the Head of Integrated Marketing at Duff & Phelps, overseeing brand and creative services, digital systems and channels, and marketing data and analytics. She is responsible for creating impactful client experiences, driving the firm’s martech roadmap and generating cross-firm insights.

Pierson Clair, Governance, Risk, Investigations and Disputes – Los Angeles
Mr. Clair is part of the Cyber Risk practice and leverages his prior experience as a leading digital forensic examiner, technical security consultant, researcher and educator. He has extensive experience protecting critical national infrastructure and working with cyber intelligence to fight espionage and terrorism.

Niall Cribben, Valuation Advisory Services – Dublin
Mr. Cribben leads the firms Valuation Advisory practice in Ireland. He focuses on valuation engagements for financial reporting, tax and transactional purposes which includes the valuation of businesses, intangible assets, purchase price allocations, goodwill/asset impairment and employee incentive schemes across multiple industries.

Enguerran de Cremiers, Valuation Advisory Services – Paris
Mr. de Cremiers is part of the Valuation Advisory Services practice, with responsibility for overseeing portfolio valuations services in France. He has over 16 years of financial advisory experience and specializes in mark-to-market valuations across diverse portfolios of illiquid and privately held securities.

Howard Epstein, Governance, Risk, Investigations and Disputes – New York
Mr. Epstein is part of the  Compliance Risk and Diligence practice and leads the product management, client service and product quality groups. In a career spanning over 26 years in financial services and consulting in both the U.S. and Asia, he has led numerous service and technology initiatives, helping start new enterprises as well as grow existing business lines.

Kristina Isert, Governance, Risk, Investigations and Disputes – London
Ms. Isert is the Global Head of Sales in the Compliance Risk and Diligence practice, assuming direct management for commercial strategy in North America and Europe. She will also play a major role in the coordination of business development efforts across service lines for key corporate clients, with a particular focus within EMEA.

David Juneau, Valuation Advisory Services – Houston
Mr. Juneau is part of the Valuation Advisory Services business unit with over 10 years of business and asset valuation experience. His practice focuses on assisting clients with financial reporting, tax reporting, and strategic planning valuations.

David Lee, Corporate Finance – New York
Mr. Lee is part of the Transaction Opinions practice and has over 10 years of experience executing fairness and solvency opinions and valuations for mergers and acquisitions, private placements and recapitalization transactions. He represents clients from a wide array of industries including real estate, software, healthcare, aerospace and defense, consumer products, consumer retail, telecommunications, media, technology and manufacturing.

Kevin McClurg, Internal Firm Services – Morristown
Mr. McClurg is part of the Finance team reporting directly to the CFO and has over 20 years of experience in international financial management, accounting operations, financial reporting, financial planning and analyses, internal control compliance, and acquisition integrations and reengineering. He is responsible for leading the controllership, business analysis and global sourcing teams, which includes overseeing all aspects of the consolidated financial results of the company, accounting operations, financial reporting, business analysis and business unit decision support, transaction processing, financial controls, corporate travel and expense and procurement.

Carmen Mencia Bastanchury, Governance, Risk, Investigations and Disputes – Madrid
Ms. Mencía is part of the Disputes Consulting practice and has more than 21 years of professional experience in disputes and litigation support. She specializes in the preparation of technical and expert witness reports and their defense and ratification and has acted as an expert witness in major arbitration cases in Spain and Latin America.

Leo Miki, Valuation Advisory Services – San Francisco
Mr. Miki is part of the Valuation Advisory Services practice with more than 13 years of business and asset valuation experience for a wide range of clients. His expertise includes assisting companies for financial and tax reporting, business strategy and transactional purposes.

Paul Nash, Governance, Risk, Investigations and Disputes – London
Mr. Nash is part of the Business Intelligence and Investigations practice and has over 20 years of experience in leading complex, cross-border government-focused corruption investigations in emerging and frontier markets and leading anti-corruption compliance reviews for a wide range of clients. He has worked across several industries with specific expertise helping clients operating in the life sciences, oil and gas, and mining sectors.

Daniel Nir, Valuation Advisory Services – Salem
Mr. Nir is part of the Transfer Pricing practice with over 11 years of transfer pricing and international tax consulting experience advising clients on all aspects of transfer pricing and tax valuation issues. He specializes in intangible property valuation, U.S. and foreign transfer pricing documentation, global transfer pricing planning and implementation analyses, controversy resolution, and transfer pricing valuation services in connection with cost sharing arrangements, mergers and acquisitions and internal business restructurings.

Mr. Nolan is part of the Secondary Market Advisory practice. He focuses on intermediating secondary transactions in the alternative investment space.

Jared Nolen, Internal Firm Services – New York
Mr. Nolen is Chief of Staff, reporting to Duff & Phelps President Jacob Silverman, and is responsible for driving firmwide strategic and operational initiatives. He joined Duff & Phelps in 2006 as part of the Corporate Finance team, and prior to becoming Chief of Staff, was part of the Corporate Development and Strategy team for more than 12 years where he was responsible for evaluating and executing all corporate transactions including acquisitions, sales, investments, joint ventures, divestitures, equity and debt offerings.

Nicholas O’Brien, Corporate Finance – Chicago
Mr. O’Brien is part of the Transaction Advisory Services practice and has over 11 years of corporate finance experience, including over six years in M&A transactions. She has spent the past 20 years in France working within or advising investment firms and asset managers.

Jordan Strauss, Governance, Risk, Investigations and Disputes – Philadelphia
Mr. Strauss is part of the Business Intelligence and Investigations practice focusing on crisis management and complex investigations, and previously served as Director for Incident Management at the White House National Security Council, as the Deputy Justice Attaché in Afghanistan, as the Justice Department's most senior national security crisis attorney, and as a federal prosecutor and trial attorney with the U.S. Department of Justice. He is a trustee of Hampshire College in Massachusetts, and is one of two outside counsel to the Grammy-award winning musical ensemble Roomful of Teeth.
