Duff & Phelps Pagemill Partners division adds Rory OSullivan as London-based Head of European Technology Banking
Pagemill Partners, a division of Duff & Phelps, is pleased to welcome Rory O’Sullivan as a Managing Director to the firm, and its first Head of European Technology M&A, based in London. His appointment marks a significant step in expanding Pagemill’s worldwide offering, and the further strengthening of M&A capabilities within Duff & Phelps and Pagemill in the UK and Europe. Since its inception in 2005, technology-focused Pagemill has completed more than 250 M&A transactions in the software, hardware, Internet and media, and communications sectors.
Rory himself has 20 years’ experience in the investment banking industry, having completed over 50 transactions with a combined value in excess of $5 billion. Prior to joining Pagemill Partners, he spent a number of years with Bulger Partners delivering advisory services to European software clients, and where he established the firm’s European investment banking arm. From 2007 to 2012, he served as Head of European M&A at Canaccord Genuity, providing a variety of advisory services (public and private company sell-side, buy-side, divestiture and private capital) to technology clients worldwide. Previously, he spent six years at San Francisco-based Robertson Stephens, where he was responsible for managing the firm’s activities in the European internet and communications technology markets.
Rory has originated and successfully completed a broad range of public and private transactions with strategic and private equity counterparties including Adobe, Cisco, General Atlantic, Getty Images, Intel, Konica Minolta, Mentor Graphics, Schneider Electric, SDL and Vector Capital.

Rory was awarded an MBA from INSEAD and holds a degree in Engineering and Management Studies from Trinity College, Cambridge.
