Erik Laykin featured in The Deal's Internet of Things Roundtable

By 2017, nearly 6.5 billion objects ranging from light bulbs to medical devices in operating rooms will be connected to networks. By 2020, Gartner projects that objects inhabiting the Internet of Things are expected to grow to 20.8 billion. Cisco is more bullish, suggesting that 50 billion devices will be connected to the Internet by 2020. The IoT is driving growth and M&A in sectors from telecom, software groups, device makers and others.

Managing Director Erik Laykin participated in a roundtable discussion, hosted by The Deal, on the opportunities and potential pitfalls regarding the Internet of Things.
