Duff & Phelps’ IP-Backed Financing Report Featured in The Hindu Business Line

Duff & Phelps IP-Backed Financing report, launched in association with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), was recently featured in The Hindu Business Line article titled, “India should bring in robust infrastructure for IP financing.” The report highlights the need to use IP as a collateral for financing.

Aviral Jain, Managing Director in Duff & Phelps’ Valuation Advisory Services practice, commented on the report saying India should focus on creating an IP financing ecosystem and should take lessons from IP-friendly countries such as Singapore and Korea. He said India needs to have a mechanism for availing requisite financial support as well as a robust marketplace for IP assets.
