Malin Nilsson Featured in Connect Magazine: The Crux of Compliance

Malin Nilsson, Managing Director in the Compliance and Regulatory Consulting practice at Duff & Phelps, was interviewed by Connect Magazine, a publication in Jersey, about her experience setting up a Duff & Phelps office on the island. She also shared her thoughts on the region’s compliance culture and the crucial role that meaningful diversity and a healthy organizational culture play in regulatory compliance.

“Compliance is really important these days. Firms are rightly concerned with compliance risk and regulatory risk and know that regulatory action in the industry can be quite damaging, both financially and reputationally. Consequently, companies and the regulator want firm regulatory controls in place….I would say that the compliance culture in Jersey is a lot better than it was and a lot of the basic controls are much better.”
