Duff & Phelps Appoints Mark Whittingham as Managing Director in the Firm’s Real Estate Advisory Group

London – Duff & Phelps, the global advisor that protects, restores and maximizes value for clients, today announced that Mark Whittingham has joined the firm’s London office as a managing director in the Real Estate Advisory Group (REAG). 

Mark joins from BNP Paribas RE, where he led the Valuation Advisory team. He brings over 20 years of experience in real estate valuation, both commercial and residential, focused on providing valuation advice for loan security and statutory purposes.

Prior to BNP Paribas, Mark held the position of Head of Commercial Valuation at Strutt & Parker LLP, and European Director at JLL. His specialist services include valuation of core Central London holdings, industrial and logistics, south east offices, large scale shopping center schemes, complex portfolio transactions and international valuation services.

In addition to advising on commercial and real estate investments, Mark has experience in providing strategic advice including maximizing sales proceeds, developing property business plans, residual appraisals and discounted cash flow (DCF) techniques.

The addition of Mark follows the appointment of John Slade as Non-Executive Chairman of the REAG International Practice. Mark’s expertise will add depth to the Duff & Phelps REAG practice as it continues to grow its London presence and European offering.
