Norman Harrison Joins Duff & Phelp's Disputes and Investigations Practice

Duff & Phelps, the premier global valuation and corporate finance advisor, today announced that Norman Harrison has joined as a managing director in the firm’s Disputes and Investigations Practice. At Duff & Phelps, Harrison will build on his 30-year track record leading investigations covering a wide range of criminal, securities enforcement and fiduciary duty issues. Harrison’s substantial experience includes advising companies on internal investigations, regulatory compliance, due diligence and post-acquisition disputes. He has led multidisciplinary teams in DOJ and SEC independent monitoring appointments, and has provided operational, transactional and litigation support to investment funds, both as an outsider adviser and internal compliance officer. Harrison will be based in Duff & Phelps Washington, D.C., office.

Prior to joining Duff & Phelps, Harrison served as a Senior Managing Director at FTI Consulting. Before FTI, Harrison was a co-founder and served as Chief Compliance Officer of an SEC-registered investment adviser and its FSA-registered European affiliate, which managed over $1.5 billion in assets. Earlier in his career, Harrison was a Senior Managing Director of Richard C. Breeden & Co., an advisory services firm specializing in corporate monitoring, internal investigations, litigation and regulatory consulting, and restructurings and workouts. He was also previously an investment banker with Stephens Inc. and Alex. Brown & Sons, and practiced corporate law with Paul Weiss Rifkind Wharton & Garrison LLP.
