Srividya Gopalakrishnan, Managing Director in the Valuation Advisory Services practice at Duff & Phelps, was featured on The Breakfast Huddle show on Money FM 89.3, a leading radio station owned by Singapore Press Holdings. She shared key findings from Duff & Phelps’ Transaction Trail 2018 Report, explaining that the South East Asia region covering Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia recorded total deal activity valued at over US$136 billion in 2018. In the last few years, outbound transactions have been driving the M&A activity, typically led by sovereign wealth funds investments, buy outs, and the privatization of large companies.
