Duff & Phelps Honored at Women’s eNews Corporate Equality Awards

Ekaterina Timaeva, Managing Director and Co-Chair of Duff & Phelps Network of Women (NOW) discussed mentoring and women’s advocacy in panel discussion.

New York – Duff & Phelps, the global advisor that protects, restores and maximizes value for clients, is pleased to announce that the firm was honored at Women’s eNews’ Corporate Equality Awards. The awards recognize companies that are pioneering efforts in gender equality throughout their organizations.

On December 10, 2019, Ekaterina Timaeva, Managing Director and Co-Chair of Duff & Phelps Network of Women (NOW), represented Duff & Phelps in a panel discussion on mentoring and unconscious bias training and practices at the Women’s eNews awards luncheon. Timaeva joined panelists from JPMorgan Chase, TIAA and Golden Seeds, who each shared what their organization was doing to combat unconscious bias and encourage mentoring in the workplace. As Co-Chair of NOW at Duff & Phelps, Timaeva is a strong advocate for mentoring women within the firm and providing them with the necessary tools to network and progress their careers. NOW was established in 2012 to promote diversity while providing a forum for women in Duff & Phelps business community. The employee resource group has more than 15 active chapters, including all major U.S. offices, Paris, London and Dublin. Through hosted events and internal networking opportunities, the group has quickly risen as a notable initiative both internally and among industry peers.

“At Duff & Phelps, we are committed to diversity and inclusion at all levels within the organization through policies, employee resource groups, client and broader financial industry female professionals networking opportunities and local initiatives. Specifically, the Duff & Phelps Network of Women, which started at the time when the firm had only nine women managing directors, strives to provide women at Duff & Phelps with all of the resources they need to excel in their careers. Currently, we have 50 female managing directors worldwide. Thank you to Women’s eNews for honoring Duff & Phelps for our efforts and for giving me the opportunity to discuss such important issues with other leading women.”
