A successful consumer company focused on core growth engaged Duff and Phelps to develop a cohesive, company-wide three-to-five year strategic plan to expand the business.
In a one day open framing session with the management team we established a consensus on key opportunities and uncertainties faced by the business. We also developed three potential strategies with future cash flow scenarios, analyzed risks and built a robust evaluation model to analyze and compare the strategies.
Our findings concluded that two of the strategies pursued in parallel could potentially create synergy to generate significant growth for the company. The third strategy presented less growth opportunity but provided geographic diversification to the business at minimal incremental cost. The results of our analysis provided the client with rationale and support for implementing all three strategies.
