Chris Campbell Comments on President Trump’s New Tariff Threats Against China

“I absolutely think the President will impose new tariffs on imported Chinese goods,” said Chris Campbell, Chief Strategist at Duff & Phelps as well as the Duff & Phelps Institute, in an interview on Cheddar.

“We’ve seen time and time again that the administration has tried to get China to move in U.S. direction, but it hasn’t happened. This president has an unorthodox approach, and I think Beijing is still uneasy about this approach; I don’t expect anything to be changed leading up to G-20 and certainly in the next round of trade talks,” Chris added.
