White

Senior Vice President

Christopher White is a senior vice president in the Cyber Risk business, based in Boston. Chris leverages more than 18 years of experience in security, intelligence, and crisis and reputational management, and he has an extensive background in managing crisis communications around cybersecurity and data privacy incidents.

Prior to joining Kroll, Chris served as a director in the Cybersecurity practice at the Brunswick Group, a crisis management firm, where he counseled clients on preparing for and responding to cybersecurity incidents. Before that, he served as a spokesperson and intelligence analyst for the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), where he managed crisis communications and media relations, as well as assessed geopolitical risk for the Bush and Obama administrations.

After leaving the CIA, Chris served as the Deputy Director of D.C.’s Homeland Security and Emergency Management Agency (HSEMA), where he helped lead disaster preparedness, response and recovery efforts for the city of Washington, D.C., including the coronavirus pandemic, as well as hundreds of First Amendment demonstrations and National Security Special Events such as the Black Lives Matter demonstrations, presidential inaugurations, State of the Union addresses and July 4th celebrations on the National Mall.

Chris holds a bachelor’s degree from Harvard University. He also holds an M.A. in international relations and an MBA from George Washington University.
