Ruth has approximately 12 years of experience in valuations and prior to this qualified as a Chartered Accountant, working for four years within a ‘big four’ audit practice.
 
Ruth has performed business and intangible asset valuations for global companies covering a range of industries however her focus is within the Technology, Information, Communications and Entertainment sectors. Her experience includes assisting companies in determining values for financial reporting, tax planning, transaction advisory support, portfolio valuation and dispute consulting. Her engagement highlights include purchase price allocations and asset valuations for financial reporting purposes under IFRS and US GAAP; intangible asset and goodwill impairment tests; equity and asset valuations for tax purposes; valuation of private equity and hedge fund investments and portfolios; and fairness opinions.
 
Ruth received a BSc. in mathematics and economics from the University of Exeter, England. Ruth is also a Chartered Accountant (ICAEW), a Chartered Financial Analyst and a member of the CFA Society of the UK.
