Warren Low | Director | Compliance Consulting

Warren Low is a director in the Financial Services Compliance and Regulation practice, based in London.

In this role as director, Warren provides ongoing compliance support to UK authorised hedge funds, private equity firms and other alternative asset managers. He has over 25 years of asset management experience as portfolio manager and analyst for several mandates including hedge funds, private sector pension schemes and ethical unit trusts.

Prior to joining Kroll, Warren was a manager of several supervisory teams at the Financial Conduct Authority, including those responsible for Alternative Asset Managers and Fund Supervision. His combination of industry expertise and regulatory experience brings unique perspective to the application of several areas of the regulatory best practice including (but not restricted to) the application of the Consumer Duty, value assessments, systems and controls, liquidity and due diligence.

Warren has led multi-firm engagements of UK Authorised Fund Managers for several priority areas of the FCA including value assessments, market abuse, liquidity management and governance. He has also assisted with regulatory responses to market events - including the war in Ukraine and liability-driven investment.

Warren holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Brighton and is an Associate member of the Society of Investment Professional and CFA Institute.
