As an annual exercise to collect information on fund management activities in Hong Kong for regulatory and market facilitation purposes and to develop a better understanding of the state of the fund management industry in Hong Kong, the SFC has released the Fund Management Activities Survey 2013.
For those licensed corporations who have had gross operating income derived from asset management and/or giving advice on funds/portfolios during the year of 2013, the entire Survey should be competed. If the corporation has not engaged in any of the activities covered in the Survey throughout the year, only Part I of the Survey is to be completed.
We would encourage all Type 9 Asset Managers to complete the Survey on or before 21 March 2014 by following this link.
