The Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission (“SFC”) on 30 September 2016 sent out its annual Hedge Fund Survey to all licensed hedge fund managers in Hong Kong.

The Survey contains two sections:

Section 1: (Management/ Advisory Company Information) to be completed by all licensed hedge fund managers/ advisers.

Section 2: (Qualifying Hedge Fund Information) to be completed only if your firm managed/ advised a portfolio where the total net assets value of all strategy assets globally is greater than US$500 million.
Where Section 2 does not apply, the deadline for submitting the Survey to the SFC is on or before 31 October 2016. If Section 2 is applicable to you, the deadline for submitting both Sections 1 and 2 is on or before 30 November 2016.
