Aidan is a director based in the Dublin office and leads the firm’s mergers and acquisitions practice in Ireland. He is a very experienced banking professional with over 15 years global financial industry experience covering mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, infrastructure and energy, and corporate debt transactions. He has a global transaction foot print having worked in Dublin, London and Sydney, and completed transactions in Ireland, UK, Europe, Asia, Australia and New Zealand.

Aidan has significant transaction expertise having structured, arranged or advised on over US$25bn of transactions across all main industry groups or sectors, including commercial real estate. Recently, he has completed a number of sell side and buy side mandates for both corporate and private equity players.

Prior to joining Duff & Phelps in 2015, Aidan worked with Rubicon Infrastructure Advisors in Ireland, a boutique infrastructure M&A advisory firm, on a variety of sell side M&A and capital raising mandates. Prior to returning to Dublin, he was a Senior Director with Mizuho Bank in Sydney with overall responsibility for infrastructure and energy finance business origination in Australia. In 2006, Aidan relocated to Sydney and played a founding role in the establishment and development of AIB’s AUS$2bn structured and acquisition finance business.

Aidan is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ireland and an economics graduate of Trinity College Dublin.
