Brian specializes in real estate advisory services including transaction and value opinions, acquisitions, dispositions, due diligence, financial and tax reporting, brokerage and portfolio valuation. He serves numerous clients including leading real estate investment firms, private equity firms, hedge funds and financial services companies such as The Blackstone Group, Annaly Capital, Rockwood Capital, Apollo Real Estate, The Related Companies, H2 Capital, Canyon Capital, JP Morgan, Tishman Speyer, Empire State Realty Trust, Northstar Realty Finance Corp, Salesforce.com, Kohlberg Kravis Roberts, La Quinta Corporation, The Shorenstein Company, Northern Trust and HNA.

Before his work with Kroll, Brian was a director at Standard & Poor's, a senior manager with Arthur Andersen and the Director of Real Estate Acquisitions for Hidary Asset Management and Olmstead Properties, both New York-based real property private equity and development firms, where he was responsible for overseeing acquisitions, dispositions, due diligence, underwriting and leasing activity as well as sourcing and negotiating new asset debt and equity. Assets included office buildings, retail centers, industrial facilities, hospitality/hotels, marinas and vacant land for future development.

Brian received his dual degree B.S.B.A. in finance and real estate construction management from University of Denver's Daniels School of Business. He is a past assistant adjunct professor and lecturer with the New York University Real Estate Master's Program. Brian is a member of the Appraisal Institute (MAI) and was awarded the Counselors of Real Estate Designation. He is a New York State real estate broker, a New York State certified commercial real estate appraisal instructor, past president and director of the Sutton Gardens 247 unit co-operative and a committee member of the AIR Charity.
