Carine Tourneur is a managing director with the Valuation Advisory Services practice in Paris. She specializes in business valuation, as well as in intangible assets and management package valuations for accounting, tax and corporate finance projects, in the context of merger and acquisition transactions, restructuring, litigation and fairness opinions.
Prior to joining Duff & Phelps in June 2014, Carine was partner at Deloitte Finance in Paris within the Valuation & Financial Modelling practice, which she joined in 2001 and where she developed her expertise in business valuation. Carine started her career in 1987 as an equity trader at Banque Indosuez in Brussels and in Tokyo before becoming Head of Financial Research. She soon joined the Corporate Finance and M&A department as director where during eight years she gained strong expertise in stock exchange transactions (IPOs, public takeover bids, and public exchange offers). In 1999, Carine joined the financial PR agency Actus Finance in Paris and then integrated the Havas Group as director in charge of the Financial Communications department at W&Cie.
Carine has an MS in Economics from the University of Namur, Belgium. She is a graduate of the Belgian Financial Analysts Association and member of the SFEV (French association of appraisers), the APEI (French association of independent appraisers for fairness opinions), the APDC (French association of accounting experts) and AFIC (French association of private equity firms).
