Federico specializes in advising a wide range of alternative asset managers, including private equity, hedge funds and business development companies. He has performed valuations of portfolios of illiquid equity interests including private equity interests, illiquid loans, subordinated, mezzanine debt and derivative securities. Federico has extensive experience across a variety of industries including banking, insurance, brokerage, asset management, telecommunications, media, and retail sectors. He has executed valuations for financial reporting, strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructurings, division spin-offs and tax planning.

Prior to joining Kroll, Federico was a manager at Deloitte’s Financial Advisory Services where he led numerous engagements advising  alternative asset managers in portfolio valuation matters as well as Fortune 500 companies with complex intra-firm transactions, restructuring, acquisitions, divestitures, join ventures, private equity investments. Prior to joining Deloitte he was a valuation senior associate at Navigant Capital Advisors in New York where he performed valuations of alternative and illiquid investments as well as in connection with the allocation of purchase price in transactions and business combinations. Prior to that, he was an investment manager at Lopez Leon Brokers, a leading brokerage firm in Argentina, where he was responsible for portfolio management, investment research and trading of securities for institutional investors portfolios.

Federico received his Master of Science in Finance from George Washington University and his B.A. in economics from Universidad Católica Argentina.
