Greg Hely Hutchinson is a managing director in the London office, where he is part of the Global M&A Advisory practice. Greg has more than 16 years of experience advising clients across the Support Services and Transportation industries.

His industry specialization includes:

  • Blue collar services: hard and soft facilities management; textile and washroom; vending; catering; security; waste services; equipment rental
  • White collar services: trust and fiduciary; testing, inspection and certification (TIC); recruitment and staffing; business process outsourcing
  • Transport services: mail, express, logistics and distribution; bus and rail; aviation services; marine services; fleet management and leasing
    He has extensive corporate finance transaction experience within these industries, including buy and sell-side M&A (public and private), leveraged buyouts, equity raisings and leveraged finance transactions.

Prior to joining Duff & Phelps, Greg worked with HSBC Bank for twelve years, most recently as managing director and global sector lead for Support Services. Prior to that he worked for Arbuthnot Banking Group (now Westhouse Holdings plc) and Merrill Lynch (now Bank of America Merrill Lynch).

Greg is also a director and trustee of The Active Learning Trust, an academy trust currently overseeing 18 primary and secondary schools in Cambridgeshire and Suffolk.

Greg received his M.A. in Economics and Management from St Hugh’s College, University of Oxford. He was born in France and is bilingual.
