Jacob Rapp is a director in the M&A Advisory practice at Duff & Phelps and is based in the Chicago office. He has been with the firm since 2010.

Jacob focuses on the Diversified Industrials and Business Services sectors, working primarily with family-owned businesses and private equity clients on sell-side M&A and capital raise transactions. He has assisted with the successful sale or recapitalization of more than 15 middle-market businesses during his investment banking career, representing more than $1 billion of enterprise value.

Prior to joining Duff & Phelps, Jacob worked for State Farm Insurance and Financial Services.

Jacob earned his MS in Finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and his BS in Finance from Webster University. He is a CFA Charterholder and a Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) registered representative, holding the FINRA Series 7, 63 and 79 licenses. He is a member of the CFA Institute, the CFA Society of Chicago and the Association for Corporate Growth.
