Jeffrey Schiedemeyer joined Duff & Phelps in 1998. He is a managing director in the Chicago office and a senior member of the Transaction Opinions practice, which includes fairness and solvency opinions. Jeff has more than 19 years of corporate finance experience.

Prior to joining Duff & Phelps, Jeff was a vice president at LaSalle Bank, N.A./ABN AMRO. He specializes in providing corporate financial advisory services to clients on corporate valuation matters related to fairness and solvency opinions, mergers and acquisitions and the valuation of private debt and equity securities. His corporate transaction experience includes mergers, acquisitions, recapitalizations, split-offs and spin-offs. Jeff has served clients in industries such as financial services, industrial products and services, consumer products, healthcare, telecommunications, pharmaceuticals and media and entertainment.

Representative clients include Ingersoll-Rand plc, Intelsat, Ltd., Novo Banco, S.A./Tranquilidade, S.A., Tyco International Ltd., Global Collect Services B.V., Solutionary, Inc., Akindo Sushiro Co. Jeff holds an MBA in finance and management strategy from Northwestern University’s J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management, where he graduated with distinction, and a BBA in finance from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. 

Jeff is a member of the National Association of Corporate Directors, where he serves on the Advisory Committee for the Chicago chapter. He is also a National Association of Corporate Directors Governance Fellow. He holds the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority Series 7 and 63 licenses.
