Corporate FinanceJohn Grimes is a managing director in the Dallas office of Duff & Phelps. He has over 20 years of corporate finance experience working principally with middle-market companies.
John’s experience consists of numerous corporate finance and advisory assignments, including sell- and buy-side M&A transactions, and private equity and debt financing's. John has worked across a broad array of industries, including manufacturing, distribution, food, healthcare services and oilfield products and services.
John spent 14 years at Growth Capital Partners, a middle-market investment banking boutique, prior to GCP’s acquisition by Duff & Phelps in June 2011. Prior to Growth Capital Partners, John worked in the investment banking division of RBC Dain Rauscher. From 1988 to 1993 John worked in the New York office of Ernst Young’s Financial Services Group.
John graduated from Georgetown University with a degree in accounting and earned his MBA in finance and economics from the University of Chicago.
