Justin Kloos is a managing director in the Valuation Advisory Services practice, based in Atlanta. Justin is a member of the Technology, Media and Telecom Industry team of Kroll. He leverages more than 18 years of experience in valuation and financial advisory services.

Justin has prepared valuations of businesses, legal entities, securities and intangible assets for various purposes. He has deep experience in the software and communications sectors as well as in numerous other industries, including private equity, consumer finance, gaming, and general technology, among others.

Justin's clients include large multinational corporations, mid-/small-cap companies, venture and early-stage companies, and private equity firms. He has expertise on financial, tax and other reporting requirements related to acquisitions, divestitures, reorganizations, joint venture formations, impairment testing and other relevant business activities.

Justin’s notable work incudes valuations for the purposes of equity-based compensation plans, non-competition agreements, investments held by private equity firms, financial damages analyses for litigation purposes, and valuations for estate and gift tax purposes. He also has extensive experience in the general valuation of technology, trademarks/brands, customer relationships, contracts, and other intangible assets. He has significant expertise in assuring industry-specific assets and liabilities such as software-based technology, carried/promoted interest rights, wireless spectrum licenses issued by the Federal Communications Commission, and cable communications franchise rights.

Prior to joining Kroll, Justin was an associate at Standard & Poor’s Corporate Value Consulting (CVC).

Justin holds a B.S. in electrical engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, with significant additional coursework in finance. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation from the CFA Institute. He is also a member of the Atlanta Society of Financial Analysts.
